Kate Crash presents CLUB CRASH, GLAM ROCK OPERA SHOW!!!!

Kate Crash returns to Hollywood stage BIG TIME in Mach 2010 with her groundbreaking rock opera show!!!

Secrecy surrounds this musical event.

Not much has been revealed to the public about the show, which resulted in music and art lovers in Los Angeles, who are notorious for their hard-to-please palates, waiting impatiently and curiously for the March 11th show.

“I’m planning to fly to Los Angeles just to catch this show,” said Teruma Kato, a self-claimed die-hard fans of Ms. Crash living in Tokyo.

“Since I saw her doing those wonderfully entertaining street shows in Harajuku with the charismatic top hatter [Hiro Super], I have been closely following her activities, and it looks like this rock opera will be the one not to be missed.”

Due to multiple movie projects in Japan, Hiro Super will not be in the show, according to sources. However, Crash and Super’s favorite collaborator actress Sulai Lopez is rumored to have an important role in this musical extravaganza.

Award Season Has Begun! Super Gets Nomination for Mozz Man!

CGH Euro Pacific Film Awards 2009 nomination has just been announced.

Hiro Super has been nominated for his lead performance in “Mozz Man”.

He will be up against George Clooney (”Up in the Air”), Morgan Freeman (as Nelson Mandela in Clint Eastwood’s “Invictus”), Krash Kato(”Film Noir”), and Jeff Bridges (”Crazy Heart”).

Industry observers are speculating that it will be Morgan Freeman’s year, but Super is widely considered a dark horse in this heated race for one of the movie industry’s most prestigious award.

Hiro Super’s performance as the title character in “Mozz Man” (directed by Cris Ubermann) was showered with praise earlier this year. However, its early summer release and Super’s Tokyo’s perennial teen idol image may considerably hurt his chance at the glory, according to entertainment reporters.

Check this Japanese blog article on Mozz Man production in Yokohama, Japan.

In Best Supporting Actor category, Super’s regular collaborators have been nomiated.

Cris Ubermann (”Secret Santa’) and Toyoda Tanuki (”Film Noir”) will be competing against Christoph Waltz in Quentin Tarantino’s blockbuster hit “Inglorious Basterds”, Jay Davidson (”The Crying Game”), and Alec Baldwin (”It’s Complicated”).

Filmmaker Ubermann rarely acts on screen. He, however, accepted the offer by Fuji to play the role of “Secret Sant”, as he was moved by the movie’s touching story and its humanity. Uberman is considered as front runner in this category.

Mozz Man Comes Back!

One of Hiro Super’s signature movie characters, Mozz Man is coming back to screen this winter!!!

Costarring Sulai Lopez, the movie will be shot in Yokohama (Japan) and Hollywood.

According to several sourcess, Super has finally found, at the shop, a “perfect” chic gray jacket for his next movie role, which is rumored to be the same government official character from the classic “Film Noir” trilogy directed by Cris Ubermann and costarring Kate Crash.

The actor has said in recent interviews that he would not reprise the character without proper jacket as “it would be essential for character building”.

Industry observers expect that the movie will chronicle the rise and fall of the government official character from age 6 to death at 60, and Super is currently going through extensive character study in a remote island of Yonaguni.

Before Super left for Hollywood in late 2008, they were frequent collaborators. Together, they did shows on national television, still photo modeling, fashion show modeling, among others.

It’s a good bet that Super and Lille will work on a new project together this season or next, according to industry observers.

Japan Tour! Audrey Show! New Movie!!!!!!

The month of October 2009 was a busy time for Hiro Super, who flew to Japan with Kate Crash’s Blonde Chopstix and the band’s good friends in Hollywood. One of the purposes of the trip was Japan tour in front of 3,500 + auidience.

The exclusive concert tour was followed by a fun visit to Tokyo with the friends, where Super and Crash teamed up for the first time in spring 2008 for riotous street show, which ended up involving security guards, policemen, threatening street vendors, and Shibuya guitar fighters.

Right before this trip, Super appeared in “a special evening with Kate Crash” on October 2, 2009 at Cafe Audrey, a venue devoted to the legendary actress Audrey Hepburn and has become an iconic place in Hollywood in recent years.

For Super and his fans, it was indeed a very special evening as the show featured his frequent and favorite collaborators. Sulai Lopez (”I’m No Am’rican”, “Picture Show”, “Untitled Samurai Movie 2″) played one of the proteges of a Japanese Kabuki theater director played by Super. Kirsty Flockhart, who has become the band’s official “human mic stand” and will be featured in the samurai movie sequel, also costarred as Crash’s diehard fan.

In Tokyo, Super reunited with Cris “Cinemaestro” Ubermann, a renowned European filmmaker who’s been playing an important role in cementing the actor’s popularity in international cinema.

Great news….!

According to our reliable source, the two have already done a shooting for their new short film about bullet trains and zombies, and it is expected to be released in November 2009.

Super’s Final Stage Show This Season in Los Angeles!!!!

Responding to the overwhelming fan requests, Hiro Super returned to live show stage in Kate Crash band for one last time this season.

“The Kate Crash Experience” took place on October 2 at Pretty Vicious party in Downtown LA. It was another successful show by this talented bunch of artists, and fans were shouting “Hiro Super!” and “Kate Crash!” throughout the night.

The highlight of the show for so-called “Supaaa Mania”, which refers to Hiro Super’s devoted fans, was the number “Ain’t Got Much”. Supaaa Mania were surprised to see Hiro Super doing the number’s signature routine on chair, which was made famous by the band’s original member Marlena Dali, who had played her last show in the band at Dragonfly last month.

“It was my homage to Marlena,” said Super. “My entire performance that night, in fact, was dedicated to her, from ‘Sawago’ drum dance to playing the keyboard for many of the numbers. I sincerely honor and respect her wonderful performance before me.”

The band had extra (and powerful) help from Kirsty Flockhart, who heads Crash & Super’s supporter circle in Australia. For Ms. Crash’s guitar songs, she transformed herself into an human mic stand, which added nicely to the show’s “anything can happen” nature, which is one of the defining characteristics of the band.
